Peter Rambo’s path into the field of root-cause medicine is both unconventional and inspiring.

As a young man, Peter had little interest in anatomy or physiology and initially envisioned a career in meteorology—the study of weather and atmospheric patterns. Yet, YHWH (the LORD) redirected his steps, guiding him toward nursing—a calling that would ultimately shape his vocation and passion for healing.

Once enrolled in nursing school, Peter discovered a genuine love for caring for people and a deep sense of fulfillment in the art and science of medicine. He earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Piedmont Technical College and began working on a medical-surgical floor, where he honed his skills in patient care and clinical practice. Determined to expand his knowledge, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Chamberlain University.

Peter’s pursuit of excellence did not end there. Motivated by a desire to help patients not just survive but thrive, he advanced his education at Clemson University, where he earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. This training equipped him with both the scientific expertise and compassionate insight to provide holistic, patient-centered care.

Today, Peter focuses on uncovering and addressing the root causes of illness rather than merely treating symptoms. His areas of clinical interest and specialization include Lyme disease, mold toxicity, hypothyroidism (including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis), ADHD, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune conditions, hormone imbalances, and post-COVID syndromes. His integrative approach blends evidence-based medicine with a personalized focus on each patient’s unique needs.

Peter welcomes patients ages 13 and older who are ready to begin their journey toward renewed health, vitality, and long-term wellness under his care.
